North Korea Freedom Week 2013, Open Radio Event, Etc.

April 26, 2013

The 10th annual North Korea Freedom Week will be held in Seoul, Busan, Washington DC, and cities around the world from April 28 to May 4, 2013. Worldwide Awareness Day for North Korean Refugees will be May 2. The schedule is choc-full of events — and even Choco-Pies!

Visit the North Korea Freedom Coalition page for detailed information (at the top of the page you’ll find a link to the PDF of the tentative schedule).

Note that the schedule is marked tentative as of April 9, so there likely will be a few changes. We know for a fact that the Justice for North Korea concert the evening of May 4 has been rescheduled for May 11. We recommend checking with each sponsoring organization before attending events to confirm the time, date, and place and to find out if there will be English translation.

Following is more information on a few events we could find more information on in English:

Seoul International Symposium on North Korean Human Rights
